In our efforts to improve our website even further we are making several changes over the next eight weeks.

Testimonials - June 20, 2008 we will begin posting our three most recent feedback comments (good or bad) however we will not reveal any personal information other than initials and what state you are from. If you own a business or blog that you wish to have associated with your testimonial then you must note that in your feedback. Websites may not contain obscene, nudity, adult materials (requiring over age 18), or hate messages or crimes in order to have a link to. This will be checked and verified by the owner.
Drawings - Weekly drawings are coming to an end soon and beginning July 1, 2008 we will switch gears and focus on a slightly larger drawing giving away 3 products but only once a month. The rules for entry have not changed however we will do a seperate post later this week with more details.
Back to School Specials - We are going to become highly focused on saving you cash for back to school time over the next several weeks as the time grows shorter for summer break (sorry kiddos). We will post later in the week on new products and special package deals for back to school.
Sister Website - Home n Garden Supply is up and fully functional. In our process to change into a bulk/wholesale provider our sister website is taking on the challenge of sales for individuals. Please do not let this discourage you but encourage you. Later in the week we will be posting more details as well as emailing all of our registered customers.

We discovered we had an error in our automation system and therefore the Week 3, 4, & 5 winners where not announced or emailed. This will be done by 5pm May 16, 2008.

We are in the process of switching to a different email system for our Monthly newsletter. Customers will need to opt out if they do not wish to receive these emails any longer. Opting out is very easy and simple just follow the directions on the bottom of the newsletter.

We will be offering codes and specials that you can only receive via the monthly newsletter however so give them a chance and save save save!

Starr Discount is pleased to announce the Subscription packages coming soon to our website. Scheduled to become fully available on May 1, 2008 Starr Discount will have at least three levels of membership available to provide larger discounts to their loyal customer base.

We are also proud to announce our new loyalty givaways beginning soon. These will be based on highest purchase over the last 30 days from each member. The biggest customer of the month will receive choice of a $10 store credit or a $10 gift certificate to our store.

The Sweetest thing happened to me yesterday afternoon I just have to share with the world!

If you are married or dating someone long enough you will probably be able to relate to a situation where you say something you can't take back and you think the other person is very upset with you.

This happened to my husband and I yesterday when what started out as a teasing email over a birthday gift led to an email about our anniversary which is the day after his birthday. Needless to say most women even me (I admit it) can be touchy on the topic of anniversaries and birthdays. Most especially when one thinks that her husband has forgotten their first anniversary or doesn't care about it.

It has been a wonderful year. No fights to speak of and we get along great so I was a bit furious when I thought he didn't really care about our anniversary. Next thing you know I must of said something he didn't like because he emailed and said something like, "If your going to act that way, I will talk to you later." As most women can imagine that only made it worse. So I thought for a second and decided not to reply to just let it go especially since I was still at work.

Having came to work a little late I was still here at 10 after 5 when he came in with 2 roses in a vase. I couldn't believe it. No one has ever brought me roses at work or anything similar. The card reads, "I have not forgotten our anniversary. I love you very much."

I could have died and I didn't know what to say.

If you are in a bad relationship and can get out do so. I say this because I stayed in one for years for the kids, for fear, and for lack of courage & money. Leaving was so hard and money was tight. I thought at times I couldn't do it but I did. I went back to school and got not one but two degrees and now I came across the best man I could ask for. He made up for all the horrible things I went through the first time in less than a year.

I appreciate him and love him dearly.

Wholesale Supplier(s)

Since I sell on Ebay and I have opened my own online store I am clearly in need of finding the best deals for the best products. I will be adding wholesale distributor information as often as I can about the supplier(s) that I use most often and why I selected them.

Today I am going to talk about Doba.com and how they have changed over the last several weeks. When I first signed up I soon started to regret all the money I had spent. The truth be told I wasn't ready to make such a large step because I wasn't selling enough and I hadn't researched how drop shipping worked. I didn't need to spend that much money I thought on a part time business. Insane right? No, I wasn't losing my mind I was making a very good investment I told myself.

So I did what any women in her right mind would do. I talked to my husband and I called my parents and asked them for advice. I did all of this knowing my husband was supporting my decisions and behind any venture I try so long as I have the potential to make our money back and I am not spending our food money.

My parents are supportive as well and I have to say Thank you to everyone in my life that has been there for me. That being said now I can get back to what advice I was given.

They all told me to give it a try since I was already paid up for a month anyways. My first month I paid by the month not sure even after the trial it was what I needed. So I did use that month to begin testing the waters on Ebay. Don't get me wrong I have a long way to go before I have perfected anything but I am currently making around $450.00 a month in profit when before I was only making maybe $50-100.

I can't see spending hundreds of dollars on a monthly plan that can be so much cheaper if you pay for it by the year. So that is what I had reluctantly done. I am so happy I did that now. I did make the mistake of not using Doba very much during my free trial. But I did however use it enough that $30.00 of what I spent on the annual membership was profit from selling 2 items that I ordered through Doba and sold on Ebay using their drop ship method.

I am still not a 100% believer I can get rich on Ebay using Doba but I am certain of this much: I have already made enough profit to cover the cost of another year membership.

Doba does offer a Free Trial so why not sign up and take a peak. You may cancel anytime during the 7 day trial period if you don't want it or don't like it. I am not trying to mislead you into thinking this is your guaranteed chance to make the hugest difference in your life because it isn't. Like all other programs or memberships it is a gamble and the only person that can make it a success is you.

Keep in mind this takes drive and determination to make work. If you have never sold on an online auction site or you do not have a storefront wether it is online or an actual building you may not want to do this right now. Online auction sites will only make you money after you learn how to use them.

Later I will post information on where you can go to learn about various programs for free. I do not believe you should pay for what you can get for free.

I will be relaunching the opening of my store located at www.starrsdiscountstore.com and sprucing up my listings on Ebay located at http://stores.ebay.com/starrfinancial?refid=store as well as my My World page.

Will be considering hiring a part time employee in the very near future to help with adding more items to the store and tracking changes. This will be only a few hours in the beginning but I would anticipate that more hours could be earned with good job performance. This would likely be a pay per listing position. Something easily done from home and/or from anywhere. Pay would be through Paypal. If you do not have a paypal account you may apply here.
